Life and Stuff

I collect animation artwork or production artwork as some people like to call it. Now not all production artwork is pricey, you can find He-Man cels by the tons for as little as 1$. But the series that I collect from and especially my favorite characters tend to be pricey. The priciest acquisition yet would have to be my single most prized cel (cels are clear pieces of acetate with xeroxed lines and paint on the back to create a single frame of animation) of Sailor Moon during the climax of the 4th season. Dropped a good 1,000$ on her, but nothing could have been more worth it as I absolutely treasure it and can’t believe I own that moment of history!
