When looking at the many products for dogs, you will find that some are useful and some are just for fashion.  Dog pajamas actually can be both.  First you do have to make sure that your dog will be happy wearing the pajamas and, also, safety is always a consideration in choosing the particular pajama for your dog.  Make sure that there are no decorations or design elements that can be harmful to your dog, consider if the decorations can come off or get caught on furniture or anything in your dog’s environment.  Pajamas can be useful to a puppy that wants to feel snuggly, or to an elderly dog that they would welcome the added warmth.  Also, dogs recovering from health problems can feel more secure and warm while wearing pajamas.  Doggie pajamas can be found in a variety of materials and the material should be chosen with the dogs needs in mind.  There are lightweight fabrics, and there are warmer fleeces and thermal wear to choose from.  Cotton fabrics are good all purpose choices and terrycloth is good for after a bath.  There are many styles and colors to choose from and you will surely find the pajama that would be ideal for your dog.
