About as Traditional as They Come

I’m one of two children, and my younger brother and I get along very well.  We certainly had our share of arguments growing up, but never anything that went beyond a “Mom, he hit me!” or “Dad, she stole my toy!”  As adults, we have a good relationship that achieves a good balance of closeness (thanks to email) and distance (thanks to the fact that we live several hours apart from each other).  My parents were high school sweethearts and remain happily married to this day.  Frankly, it all seems a little dull – I remember actually envying my friends with divorced parents when I was younger because that meant they got two bedrooms, two sets of gifts at holidays, etc.!
