Immaturity is something that went hand in hand with me for a very long time. It was hard for me to relate to people who WEREN’T immature… until one day in late August when I took a pregnancy test and saw a positive sign. From that very moment, my life changed, and my baby became the most important thing in the world to me. I found out in December that it was a boy and couldn’t have been happier. He is the light of my life and the reason I keep going everyday. His smile makes any room brighter, he’s such a beautiful baby. I can’t imagine loving anything , or anyone, more.

Sometimes You Fall.. Just Get Back Up

Posted on Monday, August 16th, 2010 at 7:26 pm

I learned how to do things a little bit later than usual children. I was about 12 years old when my parents decided it was just about time for me to get rid of the training wheels on my bike and upgrade me to the big kid bikes that all the other kids were riding around. I knew they were a little worried that I hadn’t learned how to ride my bike yet, so I asked a childhood neighbor and good friend how to help me ride a 2 wheeled bike. He loaned me his, told me to get on it, petal, and not stop. So I did. And I ended up running right into the side of a car and falling down. Long story short, I got back up, wiped myself off, and learned how to ride that bike. It was a lesson in independence.

My Black Hunter

YouTube Preview Image I had a dog called Hunter. He was black in color and had very sharp canine teeth. He comes from a very rare dog family. Their family is known as ‘Tangkhul Hui’ in local dialect meaning hunting dog. This dog family is only found in Ukhrul district of Manipur (India) bordering Myanmar. They are known for their fierce hunting skills. They are trained by the tribal people to use them for hunting in dense jungles. And they are very good learners too. Apart from his hunting skills he had a very funny look. He had a very short funny tail and flat ear. Due to his black color he had a scary look. He won’t let any stranger pass our gate. He would just sit and wait for any strange movement during the dark at the gate. He was a beautiful dog with good character. But unfortunately he died on a road accident. I almost cried when he died. And not only me, was my entire family in a state of shock when I gave them the news about his death.

When in Doubt.. Paint!

I could never really decide what I wanted to do with my life. There were so many options available to me, but it felt like all of them had a little too much red tape. That or my patience didn’t hold up long enough for me to finish what I started. That’s when it came to me.. My lifelong passion should also be my career. That’s when I made a career out of nail art design. Nothing is simpler, in my opinion, and it’s just about the only hobby I have.
