Call me a true blue Kentucky girl if you will but ever since I was little my favorite animal has always been horses.  I don’t see why anyone can look at these majestic creatures and not see the beauty of them.  From running in the field with the other horses to riding horseback in a group, they always amaze me.  I always wanted a horse when I was younger but never got one until I was in high school.  I am the first to admit that owning a horse is a lot of difficult work from grooming to feeding to keeping their stalls clean.  However, if you love horses enough then it doesn’t seem like that bad of work.  Horses to me are like poetry of the animal world.  You can simply watch them gallop through the field or watch an owner with their horse and see the beauty in things.  When you are around these beautiful animals you feel connected to the world and nature because when you look into a horse’s eye, you can almost swear you can see their soul.

Riding the Enjoyment

Posted on Monday, May 24th, 2010 at 1:58 am

My favorite website is www.enjoytheride.com.  Now being a mother of a toddler, most of my web surfing is usually around him.  Of course, you can understand why his favorite website is You Tube but I can do without that one.  At enjoytheride.com mothers can actually receive a lot of useful information for potty training plus get the support they need through this difficult period of time.  It is very frustrating when you begin potty training your child but with Huggies enjoytheride.com they make it fun for the parent and provide useful information how the parent can make it fun for the child as well, hence the name, enjoy the ride.  Not to mention their point system that allows you to include yourself in sweepstakes and earn enough points to get things for your little one.

Your Best Friend

Posted on Thursday, May 20th, 2010 at 5:18 pm

First of all I will say that care them as a family member because they are your best friend. Be a good friend to your dog, give the a lot of attention and a lot of loving care. Walking your dog on a daily basis is good exercise for them but truly not enough. Just play something creative with them like swimming. If you want your dog to look good and smell clean, brush your dog on daily basis. Giving them a frequent bath is also necessary and check for fleas. If you have a small doggie then you can carry them in a shoulder bag also. Never pick up your dog by its front leg or tail or their neck it may harm them. A good sleep is also necessary for them. For this you can buy dog supplies such as dog beds. But clean it in a regular basis.

Why Would I Want To?

Posted on Thursday, May 20th, 2010 at 1:57 am

I am one of those few people that belives everything happens for a reason. If I were to want to change something it would have an immediate and direct affect on my current surroundings. For example if I had not ever bought an Xbox360 I would have never met my current boyfriend, I wouldn’t be in a happy, secure and stable relationship with the man I love for two years. Sure I could go back and save that money, open up a savings account, but who knows if that means I would have landed with a jerk, been lonely, had a better boyfriend. I’ll never know, and I’m content with that. Everything that has happened in my life has played out as it should and I wouldn’t want to change a minute of it.

Provide your great companion with a good seat

Posted on Sunday, May 16th, 2010 at 6:18 am

Dogs are great companions and help too. They keep us good company, do away with loneliness and guard our homes. There are dogs which help in assisting and guiding disabled persons. Even autistic children are helped and guided by trained dogs. Dogs give them unconditional love and they play with these children despite their disabilities. By doing so they slowly make the children come out of their blues and melt downs and make them suitable to live in a society, bringing them to near normal lives. Dogs are loving and faithful too. Such a pet is loved by all. But what happens when we want to take them out in our expensive car? In the beginning they tend to play with the upholstery, biting and tugging at them, as a result totally spoiling the car seat. Nowadays washable car seat covers are available which allow your pet to ride comfortably and securely. While providing a good covering layer to your car seats these keep your pet also happy.

Physical Therapy

Posted on Saturday, May 15th, 2010 at 7:57 am

When I was younger I was hit by a van, the resulting injury was very minor considering all the possibilities and I’m grateful. The physical therapy that followed however, some of the worst moments of endurance and human will. I had injured my foot, learning to walk again was extremely frustrating. You walk for the majority of your life and never really think about having not ever walked. So the second you loose that ability it becomes aggravating. The therapy is extremely slow as to not strain you, but everything in you just want’s to put that foot down and go on walking. To hold yourself back, patiently wait to build up strength and then relearn the proper walkign technique, absolutely difficult, especially with me being so impatient.

Oh Boy, You Collect Plastic

That’s right, I collect cels, just tiny sheets of plastic with paint on them, and I spend some primo money on them too. I’ve had quite a few people confused by why they make me so happy and why I continue to collect. Ultimately it’s that nostalgia of owning that frame, everytime someone sees that moment, I own it. It’s the ultimate form of collecting memorabilia, I mean everyone has the toys, the shirts, the food, but how many people can say they own the actual piece of history that went under the camera and is the reason all that merchandise exists? Plus no two cels are exactly alike, what you own is something unique and all your own, I couldn’t enjoy this hobby more.

Bootlegs, No Not The Jean Cut

Posted on Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at 9:56 am

I previously mentioned Sailor Moon. Back in it’s day it had quite the following, enough so that merchandise was rampant. Well with everything popular comes the knock-offs and bootlegs. I managed to stumble across an image online of the heroine dressed up as another popular character from the time with another character as the acutal merchandise. It was this weird hybrid mix-mash of 3 popular series and I couldn’ stop cracking up. My boyfriend who shares the same love for these oldie but goldie cartoons had the same reaction and it has kept us laughing on the ocassional mention. Absolutlely love the merchandise that makes the shelves sometimes.

Boring Life Last Week

Posted on Tuesday, May 4th, 2010 at 3:55 pm

I’m not the most exciting person, in fact I spend most of my time online. But from what I can remember of last week that wasn’t virtual I celebrated I and my boyfriends two year anniversary. We didn’t do anything frivolous, we enjoyed a simple meal at Golden Corral and then afterwards went to Wal-mart for some browsing and ultimately went home and watched a movie. After that I slept a good 12 hours before I spent a bit of time with my 2 cats. I also tried to sell my 62 inch lightbulb-less television, but with no luck as the buyer kept waffling and eventually backed out all together, sucks, that money could have made this week more exciting!

You Spent What On Plastic!?

Posted on Saturday, May 1st, 2010 at 2:46 am

I collect animation artwork or production artwork as some people like to call it. Now not all production artwork is pricey, you can find He-Man cels by the tons for as little as 1$. But the series that I collect from and especially my favorite characters tend to be pricey. The priciest acquisition yet would have to be my single most prized cel (cels are clear pieces of acetate with xeroxed lines and paint on the back to create a single frame of animation) of Sailor Moon during the climax of the 4th season. Dropped a good 1,000$ on her, but nothing could have been more worth it as I absolutely treasure it and can’t believe I own that moment of history!
