One of the fun things I would like to do is window shopping. I don’t prefer to go alone. I would need somebody to accompany me, preferably girls. I would opt for some big shopping malls where I and my girl can spend lots of time together doing window shopping. Also it will be great if there is an eat out in the mall, where we can have some fast foods and have a great fun time together. Sometimes we spend almost the entire day in the shopping mall and at the end the day we return empty handed. I mean we literally won’t buy anything. But just roam around in the shopping mall for hours.

Last night was quite a culinary success in my home kitchen. For dinner, I prepared roasted chicken, garlic and herb mashed potatoes, and some locally grown corn on the cob. The roasted chicken was cooked to perfect and the meat was moist and dripping with flavor. The garlic herb mashed potatoes were the perfect consistency and had just the right amount of seasonings so that they were no overpowering. The locally grown corn on the cob was deliciously sweet and in my case, dripping with melted butter. Overall, I found that the meal was a delicious success and hope to recreate it again in the future.

Turning our backs to our confessional heritage then or ignoring that heritage from the start does no one any favors, neither in the church nor outside of it. We can be thankful that there was a Reformation era and that confessions arose as a result of that era. Far from confusing and dividing, far from causing people from straying from the apostolic age, the era of the Reformation and the documents that flowed from it clarified the truth so that people could be unified all the more in the apostolic truths of the gospel of grace in Jesus Christ. That is why it is good to be identified with the Reformation, and why it is worth remembering it when October rolls around—and anytime for that matter.
